Sara works directly with clients to make sure every request is handled promptly, accurately, and with a personal touch. Supporting David, she services client accounts and processes transactions. She’s often the friendly voice on the other end of the line, whether a client is calling in with a question or Sara is reaching out to follow up.
Sara is naturally social and loves connecting with people. She listens carefully, takes the time to understand what each client needs, and brings a tireless work ethic to everything she does. She was drawn to financial services by the chance to take on challenging work that also does real good in people’s lives. She especially enjoys the process of setting goals and seeing them reached. That mindset comes from years as a competitive athlete, where every season started with a clear target and a plan to get there.
Before joining Decker Financial, Sara gained experience within the Cetera network as a marketing intern and as branch administrator for the Cetera Investors office in San Diego. She graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Counseling and Social Change. She has passed the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE) exam and holds a Life & Health Insurance license in California.
Originally from Reston, Virginia, Sara came to San Diego for college, where she played on the San Diego State lacrosse team. She still shares her love of the game as a lacrosse coach. When she’s not supporting clients, you’ll find her at the beach, out on a hiking trail, working out, or trying a new restaurant.
